Pray for Erin

Follow Up March 15, 2014

Filed under: Uncategorized — erin @ 11:38 am

I forgot I meant to end my last post with this:

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
2 Cor 4:16-18

Now the challenge: how do I live each and every day with that in the forefront of my min. 🙂

Thank you for this reminder Erin. Although my own pain is centered in my heart–the emotional piece–still what is seen (and felt) IS but for a season. And we can be assured that nothing is wasted in God’s economy. As you are showing me- we do have a choice as to where we camp in our minds. Is it on our pain or is it on that “eternal glory that outweighs” all that is given to us by God in life–knowng that could be joy or sorrow. You continue to be in my thoughts and praying for you.

Erin, your words in recent weeks have touched many in a positive way–and yes we know even in a challenging way–especially as God’s timing is we all need to hear them as we make our way to the day we celebrate Christ’s resurrection and all that means for those who believe in Him. After our Pastor’s sermon on Ash Wednesday Service here at Bridges Covenant Church in Taveras, FL was all about trusting Jesus I was able to share your email on that very subject the next Sunday. Please know you are in all our prayers and appreciate how you are letting God speak through you. Nena and Nickie’s Mom
